Massage Preparation

Making the most of your massage treatment.

Staying Hydrated

Complete Your Health History Form Before Your Appointment

Filling out your health history form at the time of booking or well in advance is one of the best ways to ensure a smooth and effective massage experience. Providing accurate and detailed information allows me to fully understand your health background, current concerns, and any special needs.

Arrive a Few Minutes Early

Arriving 5–10 minutes before your appointment helps you settle in calmly and ensures your session starts on time.  Arrive 10-15 minutes early if you were unable to complete online forms.

Wear Comfortable, Flexible Clothing

Choose loose, breathable clothes that are easy to remove or adjust. For myofascial stretching, wearing flexible attire like yoga pants or athletic wear allows for comfortable movement and better results.

Stay Hydrated

Drinking water before and after your massage supports muscle health and helps flush out metabolic waste released during the session.

Eat Lightly or as Normal

Avoid heavy meals immediately before your massage, but a light snack or your usual meals are perfectly fine to keep your energy up.

Communicate Your Preferences and Needs

Feel free to discuss any areas of tension, pain, or specific goals with your therapist. This ensures the massage is aligned with what you want to achieve, whether it’s relaxation, pain relief, or improved mobility.

Plan to Resume Activities Mindfully

You can continue with your daily routine after your massage. Many clients find they feel more energized and flexible, but it’s helpful to listen to your body and avoid strenuous exercise right away if possible.

Arrive Open and Ready to Relax

No special mental preparation is needed-just come as you are, ready to enjoy.
